The Pregnancy HUB (BCAPOP)
Free perinatal program through BC Association of Pregnancy Outreach Programs: local outreach referrals, resource library, webinars, and support for pregnant and postpartum people.
Healthy Care Pregnancy Program (HCPP)
Run by BCAPOP. Supports pregnant and parenting people who may be marginalized (e.g. substance use, social risk) through in-reach workers, care coordination, and community connections.
Perinatal Mental Health Program – Telehealth (Island Health / Pathways)
Virtual/telephone assessments, psychiatric consultation, short-term counseling for pregnant and up to 1-year postpartum people.

Reproductive Mental Health Services (BC Women’s Hospital)
Specialized mental health care for people before, during, and after pregnancy: includes psychiatrists, social workers, and group therapy (e.g. mindfulness-based cognitive therapy).
Referral needed (doctor / midwife / NP).
Perinatal Mental Health & Substance Use Engagement Network (BC Women’s)
A peer-engagement group for people with lived experience during pregnancy/postpartum who also have experience with substance use.
Provincial Perinatal Substance Use Program (PPSUP)
Coordinated through BC Women’s, this program supports perinatal substance use care across BC — community partners, policy, and direct support.

There are so many books out there to read in regards to pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and parenting. Some of them are incredible, and some of them are not.
